I use AI because im an idiot. I get taken out for walks and socialise in an era where community exists because community has some access issues for me. Community will die, fricken doom, everyone’s going to lose their jobs. At least zero workist people will be happy.  But its only doom if business as usual continues as it has since factories that pay workers a pittance and the actual value of what they made in a day goes to the owner and whoever they’re wheeling and dealing with like a media exec who’s dealing with sports team ceo for example.  This arrangement is not looked at when some chicken littles cry about the bad bits of AI. When I say change the system I don’t mean giving your best passionate doom scrying or voting in the next sustainer of arrangement. My opinion is systemic change best done unsystem*at*ically. Sorry to huddled online affinity groups. Because power should provide for our needs and not simply austere bare necessities. You need emotional engagement, intellectual curiosity engagement, constructive physical limits practice? You want a roving unit of nunchakku wielding farmer hunter gatherer michelin level pastry bakers making breakfast for you and your book club? Or do your want your bookclub to make breakfast for that roving unit? Ethical use of LLMs? AI assistance is just a search engine on steroids imho
