κολυμβῶ – dive/swim/float

Head dunked in black water

read with white phosphorous

making fictions of the far rim

sentences lulled to lengths

of conceit skull-dragged by

an inebriated circus of fish.

Only bubbles ring out

noise, pinging like morse code

skimming through the undertow

of radiophonic whistles

sepia fins lapping like the end of pencils

drawing on a depth of plated paper

that reaches beds, the kelp

binding the spine of discarded

books submerged, content like sonar

this hair playing scales

mouth closed, cheeks bouyant

eyes dusted-saline

with a shake of irises

her amaneunis of arcus

and some lost shelf cloud

marauding on phytomer

a sea serpent stops for prey

a neck pulses

breath must be stole so jumps

this wet head sudden-bloomed out of a

cold channel like a time lapsed flower

Beautiful use of language. I love the piscean imagery and the 'space' created by your words.
